our recent stay at arrochar was absolutely incredible. this time, we chose to stay at a wonderful cottage called anchorage. it exceeded all our expectations with its stunning location, well-maintained furnishings, and amazing outdoor amenities. the host was so helpful and responsive, making our stay even more enjoyable. we will definitely be regulars from now on.
One minor downside was the limited space if the weather was bad and we were indoors with a larger group.

The Anchorage in Arrochar was a cozy and wheelchair-accessible place to stay. The room had a warm and welcoming vibe, making me feel right at home. The bathrooms were well-equipped with showers, making it convenient for me as a guest with physical handicaps.
Although the bathrooms were convenient, I found the showers a bit cramped for my liking. But hey, that's just my personal opinion!

the villa is located right on the shore of Loch Long, offering stunning views. It was fully equipped with kayaks, canoes, and other water sports gear, allowing us to make the most of the Scottish water. the house itself was impressive, with a comfortable outdoor seating area and a clever lean-to for year-round use. the host, David, was excellent, and the villa had so many wonderful little details that made our stay unforgettable. I can't recommend this place enough!
Nothing to fault! ✨

The location of this hotel is stunning, with breathtaking views of the Loch Long. The rooms are immaculate and modern, equipped with everything you could ask for. The service provided by the host is exceptional, with clear instructions and a warm welcome. The abundance of facilities, such as kayaks, canoes, and outdoor seating, adds to the overall experience. The attention to detail, including a welcome pack and extra toys for children, makes this hotel a perfect choice for families.
Although everything about this hotel is perfect, it would be even better if there was a wider variety of breakfast options.

Accoglienza imbattibile. Stanza ampia e confortevole. Colazione varia e abbondante con dolci tipici. Gestori disponibili e consigli utili. Biblioteca a disposizione degli ospiti. Giardino stupendo. Struttura curata in ogni dettaglio. Posizione centrale vicina al mare.
Non riesco a trovare alcun difetto.

The Anchorage was absolutely amazing! The room was cozy and had a great view of the mountains. It felt like a home away from home, perfect for a group of friends like us.
Personally, I found having three bathrooms a bit excessive for our group, but some might like that.
